Having been a part of the Coffs Harbour community for more than 27 years, Joanne has ingrained herself as an indispensable member, propelled by her dedication to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Her unwavering commitment to advocating for those with disabilities in Coffs Harbour has empowered her to attain expertise in the NDIS landscape, both personally and professionally.
In 2019, Joanne established PhysAbility, a venture designed to share her wealth of insights with the Coffs Harbour community. Her mission is to offer individuals with NDIS plans the essential guidance to navigate complex challenges comfortably and with comprehensive support.
Joanne is driven by her passion for empowering women in business, and she stands as a mentor to young women embarking on their entrepreneurial journey. While this remains a significant focus, her primary emphasis is on providing opportunities for the less fortunate to enhance their physical and mental well-being. This is why Joanne has structured PhysAbility to encompass two facets: support coordination to empower individuals with choice and control over their lives, and the personal training aspect to promote physical well-being and offer fitness opportunities regardless of one’s current abilities.
Outside her role in business, Joanne frequently indulges in leisurely walks with her two Rottweilers, Ned and Gna.
